SIX JACKET IN NAVY WAXED COTTON/WASHI OXFORD CLOTH

A new style for James Coward, this relaxed fitting, hip length wading jacket is iterated for the first time here in a dense Japanese cotton/washi Oxford cloth, which is finished with a paraffin wax coating. The wax finish imbues light weatherproofing and a charming patina, which forms quickly where the fabric moves and folds. The capacious silhouette of the Six Jacket is tempered by the well-defined drop shoulders, two-piece sleeve with articulation at the elbow, and snap button closure. Details include an asymmetrical funnel neck, two-way front zip, snap button front placket, interior hip patch pocket, and two large dual access bellowed front pockets.

81% cotton, 19% washi paper.
Spot clean with cold water, do not iron. Reproof with paraffin wax if desired.

James Coward is a collaborative project between three friends: Patrick Bull, Daniel Garrod, and Aaron Gray. They create garments through the reinterpretation of archetypical shapes, fabrics, and details, harmonizing their eclectic triad of sensibilities, influences, and histories.
