PARKA IN HEAVY BLACK COTTON MOLESKIN

A generously cut zip front parka with a self-lined three-panel hood, iterated here in a heavyweight cotton moleskin. The robustness of the self fabric ensures protection from the elements, and the soft brushed texture is sure to change and patina in charming ways. The fit is traditional, with a relaxed torso, dropped shoulder and gently curved two piece sleeve, allowing ample room for winter layers beneath. Interior of the garment is fully encased, with a high density cotton poplin lined body for additional wind resistance and bemberg lined sleeves for ease of wear. Details include buttonhole drawstring eyelets, welted front pockets, and large interior breast pockets.

100% cotton exterior, bemberg/cotton split lining.

James Coward is a collaborative project between three friends: Patrick Bull, Daniel Garrod, and Aaron Gray. They create garments through the reinterpretation of archetypical shapes, fabrics, and details, harmonizing their eclectic triad of sensibilities, influences, and histories. Their project works to create new perceptions of and relationships to the pliable objects and images that construct identity and beauty. All materials are sourced from mills with rich histories.
