Winden is based in Santa Fe, New Mexico and created in New York City, New Mexico, and France. Launched in late 2013 in Brooklyn, New York, each collection offers defined, personal jewelry and hair accessories with an emphasis on pure and refined forms. Each piece of jewelry is made by hand using recycled materials and stones that are traceable from mine to market whenever possible. Barrettes are made using plant-based plastic in France, focusing on minimal and striking shapes. Signature silver and stone pieces inspired by the sculptural forms found in nature—shells, flora, and fauna—remain a continuous thread throughout each collection.
