EASY TRUCKER IN BLACK WARP WOOL-CORE SELVEDGE

Sale price$680

The Crawl Jacket is a relaxed reinterpretation of the Type III jacket, featuring oversized dropped pockets and wider proportions. In addition to the roomy chest pockets, there are two large interior book pockets, as well as hand pockets for added utility. Cut and sewn in San Francisco, the jacket features traditional felled and chainstitched seams along with keyhole buttonholes throughout. Finished with Dana’s signature painted metal buttons, revived from her earlier work.

Part of a series of wool-filled selvedge denims developed using California Rambouillet wool. This version features a durable hemp warp, creating a uniquely dry and airy feel in contrast with the soft, insulating wool filling. Light enough for transitional seasons, yet insulating in the cold. With looms threaded by hand and woven slowly, this Draper-woven denim carries the subtle irregular character indicative of vintage shuttle looms. With ecology in mind, the locally sourced wool is Climate Beneficial™ certified, while the imported hemp yarns are wet-spun and then locally GOTS-certified dyed. Marked by a Coyote Brown Foxfibre® selvedge stripe.

This style also features DLB’s new custom-developed pocketing, spun and woven in the Carolinas using locally grown cotton, including 50% organic cotton.

  • 48% wool, 52% hemp.
  • Machine wash cool, sparingly, on a short cycle using a wool-friendly detergent. Wash separately and line dry.
  • Made in Canada.
