TYPE 156 SPLIT BACK JEANS IN RINSED DOUBLE INDIGO BROKEN TWILL
The Type 156 Split Back Jeans hark back to the original research in 2010 for Tender's first jeans, type 132. These were loosely adapted from vintage British Rail uniform trousers, mixed with other references to jeans and tailoring history. The Split Back Jeans are cut straight, with a very high waist. They can be worn high with a belt or lower on the hips, or with their accompanying herringbone cotton X back braces. The side pockets are cut straight into the side seams, referring to their British Rail inspiration, and the legs are wide and long, to be hemmed, pegged, or rolled.
- Double Indigo Broken Twill is a spectacularly deep indigo fabric, woven with
indigo warp and weft. It will fade beautifully over time. - Delicate wash cool, inside out. Hang dry. Traditional dyes fade & transfer, wash separately.
- Take care with natural indigo dyed garments. They will crock, and should be laundered with like colors and Ph neutral soap. Take care when wearing these with light colored garments.
- Made in England.
