P. NINA

P. Nina is a project created by NYC based Peyton Sandler documenting the artists relationship to the goddess and planet Venus. The project follows the descent/ascent orbit of the planet Venus along with the ancient myth of the goddess. Wearable shell sculptures are one facet of the project which also includes sound, photo and poetry. Each piece is made from recycled sterling silver and made by hand. The pieces are formed from the natural shape of shells and organic forms and embrace the cycles of nature.
