We love fat quilts, they're utilitarian, chubby and perfect for staying warm during the winter months. This one is hand stitched, probably from the 1930's, but uses much older victorian fabrics. The top is pieced with indigo blue calico and the back is a romantic floral that reminds us of 70's victorian revival patterns. The Bear's Claw pattern is a very old and popular American pattern, found in every region of the United States. This quilt is in great condition, with very little signs of wear.
